Dr Stacey Nicely serves as 导演 of the 咨询 & 测试 Center, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of 研究生 Psychology & 咨询. Dr Nicely has served in various capacites in the 咨询 and 测试 center for roughly 13 years. Prior to pursuing a career in psychology, she worked in commercial banking for 10 years with her last full-time position being at the supervisory level. 

Nicely provides leadership from a relational perspective and is also keenly interested in relevance and efficiency as key considerations for effective service delivery.  As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, she provides clinical services (therapy and psychoeducational presentations) through trauma-informed lens. Her integrated therapeutic approach primarily includes psychodynamic, cognitive behavior therapy, and humanistic/existential therapy. She also utilizes other approaches which include solution-focused brief therapy, positive psychology, aspects of dialectical behavior therapy, and assertiveness and coping skills training, depending on the presenting concerns.

Dr Nicely has presented on mental health related topics at national and international psychological conferences and to denominational and non-denominational audiences locally and internationally.  She thoroughly enjoys her work and is passionate about facilitating the multiple processes that contribute to individuals living out their God-given potential and becoming the best version of themselves. 

​​Aside from work, Stacey enjoys nature walks, 独处时间, driving along scenic routes accompanied by good music, traveling (fun and adventure), spending time with loved ones, and learning about different people and cultures.
